Your Arrival
Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Just outside Munich.
By car
If you are coming from Munich, take the A 95 freeway (Munich-Garmisch-Partenkirchen) until the end of the freeway and then continue towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen on B2/B23. Go through the tunnel that passes by Farchant and then take the exit to the right following the sign indicating Garmisch. Stay on that road for approx. 3 kilometres (1.9 miles). It crosses the Loisach River bridge and takes you to Marienplatz in the centre of Garmisch. At the Marienplatz, turn left into Alpspitzstraße and stay on this street for approx. 100m. Then turn right into Höllentalstraße and find us at number 48.
If you are coming from Innsbruck-Mittenwald on Bundesstrasse 2, you will enter Partenkirchen first. Turn left at the 3rd traffic signal (Rathausplatz) and go towards the train station (Bahnhof), pass the train station, go through the underpass, then, after the 3rd traffic signal, turn right into Alpspitzstraße towards Marienplatz. Next, turn left into Höllentalstraße after 50 meters (55 yards) and follow this street for approx. 250 meters (274 yards) until you reach the Staudacherhof at Höllentalstraße 48.
If you are coming from Lermoos-Griesen, Austria (B187), pass the Garmisch-Partenkirchen city limits sign, then, at the 3rd traffic signal, turn right into the Rießerkopfstrasse and stay on this street for approx. 250 meters (274 yards). Next, turn left into Höllentalstraße and after 50 meters (55 yards), you will be at Staudacherhof at Höllentalstraße 48.
By train
The German railway, Deutsche Bundesbahn, departs from the Munich central train station, Hauptbahnhof, for Garmisch-Partenkirchen on an hourly basis. There is a taxi stand in front of the station.
By plane
