Long-established. Known by everyone. And still a family business. That's the Hotel Staudacherhof in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Our proud main building, alongside the Staudacher farmhouse, country house, and our vacation apartments, is one of the most beautiful hotels in the area. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, with a view of the Zugspitze.
The changing times. They also left their mark on the Hotel Staudacherhof. In a positive sense! Once a charming villa, it was purchased in 1907 as a family residence by Franz-Josef Staudacher, who was drawn from Tyrol to Garmisch by love. Then more and more guests came. To Garmisch and Partenkirchen. And the family estate became a guesthouse. Because hospitality has always been in the Staudachers' blood. And it still is today. The business has been passed down through generations. And developed further.
From the Abbazia guesthouse to a popular hotel. Thanks to Ursula and Franz-Josef Staudacher. They demonstrated their commercial acumen. From 1965 onwards, they proved themselves to be dedicated hosts. Thus, they laid the foundation for today's Wellness Hotel Staudacherhof. The modern Bavarian History & Lifestyle Hotel, known to everyone in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It attracts guests from all over the world. For its unique blend of modernity and tradition. For its exceptional gourmet cuisine. And for that very special hospitality that can only be experienced in a family-run business. It is still the Staudachers who ensure the feel-good atmosphere here: Peter and his wife Dagmar.
Since 2008, they've been continuing this rich tradition. They demonstrate a keen sense of tact when it comes to developing the business further. They do what they do with care. But they see no reason to rest on their laurels. Because there's always something to do...
