Staudacher Farmhouse

The traditional Bavarian Farmhouse is located right in the middle of the historic old town of Garmisch, just a few steps away from Hotel Staudacherhof (100 m walking distance over the hotel grounds). When you look upon the house from the outside, barely any changes have been made to the original building. However, as soon as you swing open the wings of the large barn door, you enter a completely new world.

Abiding by the task of preserving the historic building and creating a new exclusive vacation experience at the same time, Dagmar and Peter Staudacher have redesigned the rooms with great enthusiasm and a love of detail. They made a point of using authentic and natural materials: untreated wood, precious granite, natural clay plastering, fine fabrics and old iron fittings create an “earthy and cosy atmosphere” for guests who recognise value in simplicity.

The farmhouse has been given a modern touch in the form of the event room on the ground floor.
By using the same materials, they have succeeded in preserving the house’s comfortable flair while, at the same time, producing a room for your ideas, that features all the technical equipment commonly expected in this day and age.
