Off to the Tannenhütte on the Wank
It's all about: on the hike to Fir hut on the Wank. This easy mountain hike leads from the Wankbahn car park via the Tannenhütte and Eckenhütte, and back again. 950 meters of elevation gain are to be conquered here. Once you reach the Tannenhütte, it's worth taking a detour over the Hackerbrücke bridge to the sundial. Treat yourself to a short break on one of the numerous seating areas and enjoy the unobstructed view of the Wetterstein Mountains and the Karwendel. After a stop at the Tannenhütte, the climb continues a little further. But not far. To the Eckenhütte. Here you'll be rewarded once again: with a magnificent panoramic view of the mountains. This is what hiking in Garmisch looks like! Then it's back down again. To the valley station.

Mountain tour to the Kramerspitz
A classic mountain hike around Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The view of the Zugspitze massif from the summit isn't the only highlight. The ascent and descent are an experience in themselves. The smallest of paths. In a beautiful setting. It starts at the Maximilianshöhe car park in Garmisch. From there, the hike leads to the St. Martin mountain inn. The number one place to stop for a break. Just half an hour away, you'll reach the first viewing platform, the Felsenkanzel. A magnificent view of Garmisch. And the Zugspitze. But it gets even better when you reach the destination: the summit of the Kramerspitz. At 1.985 meters. You did it! The panorama is definitely worth it. The return journey then takes you over the Predigtstuhl. And down to the Stepbergalm. Here is the second place to stop for a break. Before the descent continues. Over the Alpensteig, the Kreuzweg, and the sunny Kramerplateauweg. Back to Garmisch.
